Bombers' Week 18 Canadian receiver signing is ratio insurance, not development

Winnipeg added Vyshonne Janusas to the practice roster Wednesday — a 5-foot-11, 229-pound national who was a 2025 fifth-round pick out of Guelph, released by Saskatchewan late last month after one game and zero catches. That's his third CFL stop in roughly 14 months (Calgary → Saskatchewan → Winnipeg) for a player with two career regular-season receptions for 14 yards. Practice-roster Canadians in Week 18 aren't projects; they're emergency ratio bodies for a 7-8 club that cannot absorb an injury to a starting national.
