40:38 of defensive possession is a snap-count debt coming due

Montreal ran 36 first downs and 548 net yards while Winnipeg forced exactly one takeaway, one two-and-out, and three punts. That means the Bombers' front seven was on the field for roughly two-thirds of a 60-minute game — a workload spike well above the CFL norm for rotational defensive linemen and linebackers. Soft-tissue injuries typically surface 7-14 days after that exposure, so this week's injury report is the real scoreboard to watch.
