Michael Griffin II's special-teams tackle volume gives Winnipeg rare roster flexibility

Griffin has 31 special-teams tackles in 51 career CFL games, plus 139 defensive tackles, four sacks, four pass knockdowns, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. That dual SAM/teams profile lets Winnipeg start him and still dress Novak, rather than burning an extra active spot on a pure special-teamer.
