Pop Watson Is A Dual-Threat Futures Bet, Not A Camp Arm

Winnipeg added 22-year-old UMass quarterback William “Pop” Watson to the negotiation list. He’s 4-0 as a starter in 2026, completing 74.0 percent for 610 yards, six touchdowns, and one interception, while rushing 26 times for 154 yards and four scores. That’s 2.5 total touchdowns per start and 38.5 rushing yards per game — a cheap lottery ticket for short-yardage or red-zone packages.
