Bombers' Real Crisis Is Five Missing Defensive Linemen

Winnipeg’s Tuesday report listed five defensive linemen as non-participants — Jake Ceresna (knee), Michael Fletcher (illness), Nuer Gatkuoth (foot), Matt Jaworski (elbow), and Tanner Schmekel (illness) — plus Jarell Broxton on the offensive line. That’s 5 of 7 non-participants on the defensive front, a rotation problem media overlooks while focusing on Nic Demski’s ankle and Ontaria Wilson’s return. At 7-7 and facing 11-3 Montreal, a depleted front could be fatal.
