Brown’s Box Score Masks Intermediate Progression Issues

Brown’s 18-of-30, 206-yard, two-touchdown, two-interception line is not as clean as the final drive suggests: the Dathan Hickey pick came on a forced double-coverage throw while Tommy Nield was open on a short in after his defender sank under Dorian Singer. His first touchdown to Ontaria Wilson needed a one-handed catch and 32 yards after catch on an off-back-foot throw under pressure. The 23-yard Demski winner with 44 seconds left was clutch, but Montreal can attack the intermediate progression.
