Kelly’s 7-for-7 start masked Winnipeg’s mid-half adjustment

Chad Kelly opened by completing his first seven passes, including a 20-yard touchdown to Tyler Kahmann, and finished the first half 12-of-19 for 127 yards. After the 7-for-7 start, he went 5-of-12 — a 41.7 percent completion rate — as Winnipeg changed the coverage picture and forced Toronto to settle. That post-script dip, not the hot start, is the hidden defensive data point in the Bombers’ survival.
