Brown’s second pick was a progression miss, not a tight-window gamble

Late in the second quarter, Dru Brown forced a throw into double coverage on Dorian Singer and Dathan Hickey intercepted it. The replay showed Tommy Nield wide open on a short in route because his defender abandoned him to provide low coverage on Singer — a clear QB read/progression error that the 18-of-30, 206-yard, two-interception line obscures.
