Collaros’ must-win admission cracks the veteran-confidence script

Collaros publicly said he “didn’t think we’d be in a situation like this” before a win-or-out game against B.C., after a 35-27 loss to Edmonton dropped Winnipeg to 8-9 and ended a nine-year run of winning regular-season records. It is the first missed-playoff threat since 2015, and his emphasis on “joy” and “energy” in practice reads like a quarterback managing a tense room, not a favorite.
