Collaros is facing Winnipeg’s first Week 21 elimination game of his tenure

Collaros admitted Monday he “didn’t think we’d be in a situation like this”; the 35-27 loss to Edmonton dropped Winnipeg to 8-9 and ended a run of nine straight winning regular-season records. Winnipeg hasn’t missed the playoffs since 2015, O’Shea’s second year and four years before Collaros arrived, so this is uncharted organizational pressure for the current core.
