The Bombers’ defensive prep has a one-practice rookie stain

Earlier against B.C., Nathan Rourke was out and rookie Kaidon Salter made his first career start after only one practice on four days’ rest at Princess Auto Stadium — and Winnipeg still lost what 3DownNation called the biggest upset of the season. That is a specific preparation data point: a first-start quarterback with minimal reps beat them. If the Bombers face B.C. again, that tape is the quiet indictment of their defensive adjustments.
