The Bombers lost the turnover battle 2-0 in Edmonton and lost 35-27 as special teams struggled. A week earlier they also lost the turnover battle 2-0 but beat Calgary, largely because Trey Vaval returned a kick for a touchdown. That makes their 2-0 giveaway profile a hidden special-teams dependency: without a return score, the same margin flips from win to loss.
