Winnipeg’s return-game bailout is gone — and the turnover math is brutal

Last week the Bombers lost the turnover battle 2-0 but beat Calgary thanks in part to a Trey Vaval return touchdown; this week they lost it 2-0 again, special teams struggled, and they lost 35-27 to Edmonton. In a West race where three teams are vying for the last two playoff spots, relying on non-offensive touchdowns to offset giveaways is not a sustainable path.
