The Bombers are in a knife fight while their rivals are already auditioning 2026

Week 20 has three West Division teams vying for the last two playoff spots, and Winnipeg is one of them — no room for the evaluation mode Ottawa has entered (Bryson Barnes starting over McLeod Bethel-Thompson, Justin Hardy out, Grant DuBose in) or the "nothing to play for" approach Toronto rejected (Chad Kelly back, Cam Porter at RB, Ali Fayad at DE). Winnipeg's win-now posture — a 38-year-old Collaros, a return-game spark — leaves zero margin for a roster reset.
