Seven-Man Protection Is Failing Against Four-Man Rushes

On one drive, Winnipeg kept seven in to block against a four-man rush, yet Charles Wiley still flushed Collaros in under three seconds. That forced off-platform throws: a 41-yarder to Tim White and a 52-yard completion to Dorian Singer that traveled 48 air yards. The Bombers' deep shots are masking a protection problem, and asking a 38-year-old QB to consistently win outside structure is unsustainable.
