Griffin's 38 Tackles Can't Hold Off Smith's 43-Tackle Return

Jaylen Smith returns from a hip injury to start at strong-side linebacker, his seventh start, after recording 43 total tackles. Michael Griffin II, who started last week, moves to depth despite 38 defensive tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble in nine games. Winnipeg is choosing Smith's tackle volume and health over Griffin's splash production.
