Bombers Are Recycling Other Teams' Canadian Receiver Castoffs

Vyshonne Janusas lands on Winnipeg's practice roster with four career receptions for 26 yards across 11 games — and three CFL teams in roughly 14 months (Calgary's 2025 fifth-round pick out of Guelph, then Saskatchewan in August, released late last month). At 5-foot-11 and 229 pounds he profiles as a blocker-first national, the body type you roster to protect the run game — except feature back Brady Oliveira is on the injury report with an ankle. Signing a twice-cut receiver in Week 19 is a depth-chart confession, not a talent bet.
