Bombers are mining rivals' cuts — Janusas is on his third West roster in 14 months

Winnipeg is the third CFL stop for Vyshonne Janusas in roughly 14 months: a 2025 fifth-round pick by Calgary who played 10 games as a rookie (2 catches, 14 yards), he was cut, signed with Saskatchewan in August 2026, appeared in one game with zero catches, and was released in late September before the Bombers added him to the practice roster. That's three of the five West Division rosters for a 25-year-old — Winnipeg is scavenging rivals' castoffs for depth rather than developing its own, a pattern worth watching as the 7-8 club fights for a playoff berth.
