Philpot's 207-yard night was a middle-of-the-field failure, not a boundary-corner problem

Tyson Philpot's 11-catch, 207-yard line against Winnipeg is 18.8 yards per reception — that is not possession volume, that is a slot receiver running uncovered through the second level. Davis Alexander's 440 passing yards confirm Montreal attacked seams and the intermediate middle, which points at Bombers linebackers and safeties losing depth and leverage rather than a corner getting beaten on an island.
