Michael Griffin II's return creates a hidden American ratio crunch.

Winnipeg's depth chart puts Griffin II back at starting DB and Wilson back at receiver, while Womack goes to the PR. That means two American roster spots are being used on players returning from injury, forcing Canadian depth to absorb ratio snaps and special-teams reps. If Griffin II's coverage isn't fully back, the Bombers are sacrificing developmental receiver reps for a defensive back who may only play a rotational role.
