Hansen Re-Signing Is a Special Teams Play, Not a Pass-Rush Play

Thiadric Hansen, the second overall pick in the 2019 CFL Global Draft, rejoined as a free agent and was added to the roster in a depth role. His 69 career CFL games have produced 40 special teams tackles against just 22 defensive tackles — a 1.8-to-1 coverage-to-defense ratio. At 33, he's a global-roster compliance piece and a teams asset, not a rotational pass rusher.
