Buck Pierce dials play-action on 37.4 percent of Zach Collaros's dropbacks — the highest rate in the CFL — and Collaros rewards it with 9.2 yards per attempt and a 112.6 passer rating, versus 6.5 YPA and 88.1 on static drops. But when the Bombers trail by seven or more in the fourth quarter, that rate collapses to 18.9 percent, and Collaros has thrown four of his nine interceptions in those exact snaps.
