Red zone trips, not conversion rate, is the real issue

Winnipeg's 29 red zone opportunities rank 8th in the CFL, compared to Edmonton's league-leading 42. Even a league-average conversion rate can't compensate for that volume gap — the Bombers simply don't get into scoring position often enough, which is why they're 7th in points scored at 24.7 per game.
