Pass-heavy red zone play-calling is sabotaging scoring

Against Edmonton, the Bombers made three red zone trips and came away with zero touchdowns, attempting five passes from inside the 12-yard line — including a failed third-and-three pass from the 5 — while never calling a single run in those critical short-yardage spots. Tim White, who has 2 of the team's 13 red zone TDs, admitted the third-down gamble saw man coverage that wasn't exploited.
